A cheshire cat that threw away their smile.
They lived a long life of not having a voice and no words to say.On the night of a red moon, they watched souls from Hell emerge from the grounds and ascend to the heavens to be reborn into new life.
And they decided that they wanted that, too.So they searched for their smile again.
And could never find it.In the end they decided it wasn't worth it.
Having searched high and low; from tree to tree and over every hill without any luck.
So they chose to ascend to the heavens on their own.On their way up, they met a star crafter who took pity on them.
He crafted the creature a new smile from pieces of the moon.
But with it came an unquenchable thirst for the life essence that they could not return to.They've become a feline blood sucker with a wicked grin.
